DABC is looking for dedicated volunteers to become Social Media Ambassadors!
What does a social media ambassador do?
This is one of the easiest ways to support and get involved with Daughters Against Breast Cancer. Dedicate 2-3 minutes every day to spreading the word about who we are and what we do on social media. Start by following or subscribing to our social media accounts; then share our posts with your friends and followers.
Am I eligible?
You must have at least one of the following accounts set to public: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and/or LinkedIn
You must be willing to commit for at least 6 months
How Do I become a Social Media Ambassador?
Simply sign up below to receive #DABCambassador emails. DABC is active on several social media platforms. We’re organizing ambassadors across platforms through social media and monthly emails by individual staff members that we’ll send to your inbox. We’ll give you the scoop on content, programs, and projects and highlight relevant hashtags.
What do I have to do?
In addition to reading #DABCambassador emails:
Facebook: Like our page and our status updates and share these with your friends. Leave comments on our updates and share our stories and photos.
Twitter: Follow us for the latest news and Retweet our updates to your followers. Ask us questions, use our hash-tags and Tweet us our campaigns.
YouTube: Subscribe to our channel, watch our latest clips, like our videos and share them with your friends and family.
Instagram: A double tap is all it takes to get the message out about our work.
LinkedIn: Follow us for the latest news and share our updates to your network.
Use a certain hashtag when we encourage you to do so – for instance, tell others “I am an #DABCambassador” to show your support for the DABC.
What will the information contain?
DABC asks that you post information about our programs, fundraising opportunities, and educational lifestyle content on your social media platforms. As well as use hashtag #DabCares when posting your own relevant and engaging content.
